Kerrville, Texas: Devastating flash floods have left families in anguish as several people remain missing from a popular RV campground in central Texas. The sudden flooding overwhelmed parts of the HTR TX Hill Country Campground, catching many visitors off guard during the early hours of July 4.
Among those missing is Brad Perry, who was reportedly last seen around 5:00 AM, according to his son Alex Perry. Torrential rain had already been pouring since the previous evening, and floodwaters surged overnight, turning peaceful campsites into danger zones.
Another family desperately searching for answers is that of Steve Edwards, who also vanished around the same time. His daughter, Allison Edwards, shared heartfelt words about her father:
“He’s the kind of person who lights up any room — a devoted dad, loyal friend, and kind soul. We’re not giving up until we find him.”
Meanwhile, Melissa and Rob Kamin are also unaccounted for. Their daughter, Lorel Carr, revealed that the couple may have tried to leave the campground before the situation turned life-threatening.
“My grandpa told us they were considering evacuation before the worst of the storm. We’re hoping they made it out safely.”
Rescue efforts continue across Kerr County, as emergency responders work around the clock to locate those still missing. The flooding, fueled by relentless rainfall, has led to widespread damage and rising concerns for public safety.
Authorities urge residents and travelers in low-lying areas to stay alert and follow emergency updates as the search and rescue operations intensify.
