Double Murder Shocks Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar: Mother and Son Found Dead in Their Home, Domestic Help Held

A shocking incident has come to light from South Delhi’s Lajpat Nagar, where a mother and her 14-year-old son were found dead inside their residence. The incident has caused deep concern in the locality.

According to police officials, the bodies of the 42-year-old woman and her teenage son were recovered late at night when the house was found locked from outside. Upon being informed, the police team arrived at the scene, broke open the door, and discovered the tragic scene — the woman’s body in the bedroom and the boy’s in the bathroom.

Police Investigation and Arrest
The investigation revealed that the family’s domestic help was allegedly involved in the crime. Reportedly, an argument earlier in the evening led to the unfortunate incident. The accused, identified as Mukesh from Bihar, was arrested on Thursday morning after being on the run.

Police officials confirmed that the bodies were sent for post-mortem examination and further legal proceedings are underway. The motive appears to have been personal anger following a scolding.
